ARS Build & Construction is thrilled to announce our sponsorship of Spencer Boyd, driver of the #76 car, at the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series event at World Wide Technology Raceway in St. Louis. The excitement revs up on Saturday, June 1, at 12:30 PM for the Truck Series kickoff.
Spencer Boyd’s racing career is a story of dedication, talent, and remarkable achievements. Much like the legendary Jeff Gordon, Boyd found success early, starting at just six years old. His family’s commitment to fostering his racing career led them to move for better racing opportunities. Boyd’s early years saw him securing an impressive 12 World Karting Association (WKA) Championships, setting the stage for his future success.
At 14, Boyd transitioned to the larger and faster Legends Cars, where his talent continued to shine. He swiftly amassed victories and championships, including back-to-back titles at Rockingham Speedway in 2011 and 2012. His impressive record boasts 23 wins in 43 starts, with an average finish of 1.7. Boyd also claimed the North Carolina state championship, Touring Series championship, and ranked second in the INEX National Points standings.
Continuing his ascent in the racing world, Boyd drove the #48 Hendrick Dodge in the NASCAR Whelen Series Late Model division, winning 4 of his first 5 starts in the 2015 season. He also competed in the Super Late Model for Hendrick City Chevrolet, laying the groundwork for future achievements.
In 2016, Boyd made a significant leap by running select races in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, aiming to gain approval for all tracks. On April 2, 2016, he debuted in the series at Martinsville Speedway, teaming up with MB Motorsports. Boyd made waves by driving his No. 63 Go Parts Ram up to 5th place during the race.
Boyd’s journey continued in 2017 when he began the season with the No. 12 Chevrolet Silverado for Rick Ware Racing in the Camping World Truck Series, sponsored by Grunt Style. He soon moved up to the Xfinity Series, running the No. 07 Camaro for Bobby Dotter’s SS Green Light Racing. Boyd competed in nine NASCAR races that year, achieving a best finish of 13th at Talladega.
In 2018, Boyd competed full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 76 Grunt Style Chevrolet Camaro. He finished fourth for 2018 most popular driver in his rookie season. In 2019, Boyd piloted the No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado for Young’s Motorsports in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Series, securing his first win at Talladega and making select starts in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Boyd drove for Young’s Motorsports for five years.
In 2024, Boyd announced the formation of his own team, Freedom Racing Enterprises, bringing back the No. 76 with a fleet of Chevrolet Silverados.
Outside the track, Spencer Boyd is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and target shooting. He is also committed to raising awareness for military veterans, police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and all service men and women.
ARS Build & Construction is proud to support Spencer Boyd as he continues his journey in the NASCAR Cup Series. Our commitment to excellence and innovation aligns perfectly with Boyd’s relentless drive and passion for racing. We are excited to be part of this thrilling event and to cheer on Spencer Boyd as he takes to the track.
