A cleaner install, more lights per power supply, and vibrant RGBW color — designed for simpler setup, faster installs, and fewer headaches in the field.
Fewer components, simpler wiring, faster installs, and easier troubleshooting — here’s exactly what changes with the 24V system.
No separate power wire. Data and power both travel down a single 18AWG/3-Conductor shielded wire — no 12/2 or 14/2 runs, no power injection along the string.
No more placing Regulators and Isolators every 24 feet. Regulators are built into each string and isolated at the connector. Just plug the strings into each other and you’re done.
No dedicated starter needed. Connect your 18AWG/3C from the controller to a female connector, then into your first string’s male connector — that’s it.
More lights per power supply. The 24V system handles 225 bulbs (150 ft) per supply. Most small and medium homes will now run from a single supply.
New RGBW bulb delivers more vibrant colors overall. Remember to set the bulb type in the app during setup — the string will display wrong colors if you skip this step.
Less troubleshooting overall. The simplified hookup means less that can go wrong — spend less time debugging isolators, power taps, and wiring in the field.
Faster installation. Eliminating separate power wires, isolators, and regulators should knock several hours off your typical install time.
Isolators are only needed when connecting a second power supply (systems over 225 bulbs / 150 ft). Isolators and power taps are included with Aux Boxes for convenience.
CLC controllers are now more robust. Added output protection helps withstand shorts and overvoltage conditions in the field.
No more separate Indoor and Outdoor Boxes. All units are now certified for both indoor and outdoor use, simplifying your inventory and installation.
